Sarah Dauphiné Tchouatcha was born in 1969 in Besançon, France. In 1989, she gained admission into the school of fine arts in Saint Étienne. After two years of general arts studies in which she got passioned by architecture and photography courses, she finally chose photography with a continued interest in depicting lines. Living in Cameroon for the past fifteen years, she teaches fine arts in the French high school in Yaoundé. During her leisure time, she observes the multiple changes the Cameroonian society is undergoing and relates them through exploration work in documentary and artistic forms. A discret but sensitive look expressed in two ways, photography and video.
