On the occasion of his fourth solo exhibition at AFIKARIS gallery in Paris, Salifou Lindou invites Pascale Marthine Tayou for a free and singular conversation. These two major figures of the Cameroonian and international art scenes, connected by a friendship spanning several decades, engage in a rich and eclectic dialogue that oscillates between politics, art, and personal convictions. Their exchanges, often nourished by long phone conversations, weave together memories, contemporary reflections, and a surrealist approach to creation. This talk is an invitation to dive into Lindou’s universe while exploring Tayou’s artistic vision, offering a unique perspective on contemporary African art.
