This book has been conceived on the occasion of Boluwatife Oyediran's solo exhibition -Inverted Blackness - on view at AFIKARIS Gallery from 17 October to 23 November 2024.
The publication includes the curatorial text of the exhibition written by its curator Michaëla Hadji-Minaglou, a detailed interview with the artist and the artworks presented in the show. The book also features a short story by Oyediran titled Jupiter in Bad Conditions, which weaves together elements of fiction and autobiography to reflect on his recent experiences in America.
