DANIEL 'PENGRAPHER' OSHUNDARO WAS BORN IN 1997 IN NIGERIA. HE LIVES AND WORKS IN NOVISAD, SERBIA, WHERE HE IS GRADUATING WITH A BA IN SCULPTURE FROM THE ACADEMY OF ART.
In 2018, Pengrapher obtained a BA in Creative Art from the University of Lagos. He has received several media features in publications such as Dnevnik, The Rwanda Times, the Guardian Nigeria News, Metal magazine, Globaltimes, Malimbe African magazine, The Vanguard Newspaper, and few more.
A multidisciplinary artist, he focuses on figurative abstract paintings, sculpture and documentary photography. His practice reflects and engages how his individualistic beliefs, aspirations and personality become attached to the work he creates. His work represents the self-expression of thoughts and experiences from his environs by referencing classical compositions and vintage imageries using a combination of colours, lines, texture, and symbolism.
His latest body of work presents references from Picasso of balanced polychromatic sequences that are imaginative.
