OPEN STUDIO | SATURDAY, 28 SEPTEMBER | MONTREUIL
On Saturday, 28 September, from 3 to 6 PM, we are pleased to welcome you in Montreuil at AFIKARIS Residency to visit Omar Mahfoudi's and Ousmane Niang's studios. The artists will be present.
Omar Mahfoudi is currently working on his upcoming solo exhibition at the gallery (January – February 2025) alongside the Untitled Miami art fair (4 – 8 December). Mahfoudi's works unfold in a faded atmosphere, oscillating between lost paradise, melancholic twilight and unfathomable night.
Ousmane Niang is preparing "L'heure du regard" his solo exhibition (28 November – 4 January). His work used to depict society's inequalities and now explores how to build a better future. The aesthetics of his art is based on the pointillist technique. If each point is double for Ousmane Niang, each problem comes with its solution.
